He stares at the note far longer than he should. He wasn’t sure what he was expecting or how he should be feeling but…He just stares a while. His fingers slowly tighten and he takes a few deep breaths as he tells himself to just wait and see. 

It would be fine. 

Finally, night falls and he heads for her place feeling his pulse speeding up and willing it to calm as he knocks and waits. Perhaps he’d misunderstood? Either way, he’d no doubt find out. 

She opens up the door and smiles as she sees him walk in. It had been a long day filling in for Kinana and Cana just felt out of it. As he walked into her loft, a wide smile spells across her face.

An unopened envelope is sitting at the foot of her coffee table and she just looks at it, her smile dropping and dread coming across the card mage’s face. “I wanted us both to find out together” she said with a mischievous smile.

She gets closer but stops and decides to let him go for it. “I-I can’t, you do it. Find out if I am right or wrong”
