While Cana is known as a boozehound to many, she actually has another bad habit…smoking. It’s something that relaxes her in her most stressful of times. She was the one who started smoking before Gray and gave him his first pack. Its one of the few things these best friends have in common.
So when interacting with Gray, she will most likely pick up her pack and zippo from her bag, or join him. Also, he’ll start smoking at her apartment when he’s stressed out as well.

On this day X791, 10 years ago ( X781 at the age of 16) she gave Gray Fullbuster her first Valentines Day present. Unfortunately, he was too concerned with a mission, he left her stranded at a restaurant.
She promised to never give him another chance and closed off from him. Who knew that exactly 10 years later, history would repeat itself. He left her waiting at that same restaurant to spend time with Juvia.
Once Cana found out, she was furious and very closed off from the world.

I think that Cana is the same way Gildarts is with kids. Cana is a warm-motherly type underneath her hard exterior though she usually changes immediately in the presence of children
Growing up at the orphanage, she looked after many of the other kids until she joined Fairy Tail herself. I think her ability to relate to kids is what makes her very nurturing. She loves the idea of one day falling in love and starting a family. On the basis of being pregnant, she would go full-on berserker.

But when it does so happen to pass, she would try to be a good influence to her child(ren) and not drink or smoke in front of them.

Cana’s idea of her childhood was not what she expected. While she may have somewhat lost a father, she gained a brother (Natsu), a best friend (Gray), a sister (Erza) and a rival (Levy)[look it up people]

Cana is not the kind of person to take things lightly when it comes to family. In fact, she is one of the strict mothers of the older generations with Yuri and Storm. Mira is firm but fair with Rendu, Lisanna is trying to get through Lix’s rebellious nature, Rocky is too much like Ever in his character, Erza goes goo-goo over gah-gah, Lucy can barely handle Nishi, Igneel, and Layla and Natsu just makes things worse. And Rayne and Silver are just too adorable to ignore. The only one who behaves of the group is Gale due to Levy’s smarts, and luckily none of Gajeels stubbornness (until he hits puberty).
Cana is a gambler, we all know that. She has a habit of making drinking contests fun by usually putting dares. Most will consist of the loser (almost everyone else) to wear a particularly ballerina-ish costume around the guild hall for about a day.
On the off chance she loses, which is rare, she will broadcast some of her more…unseen talents.
Those who can beat her at her games will get the satisfaction of winning and seeing Cana do one of the three techniques.
Confession: I honestly think Cana could be the long awaited Fifth member of the Raijinshuu. She could have girl time with Ever, make stupidly inappropriate jokes with Bickslow, train constantly with Freed and put Laxus in his place when he gets outta hand.
Besides, she’s as badass as any of them, they’d probably gladly accept her with open arms.
